Al Yamamah University organizes the Family Business Forum

In line with the university’s role and its social responsibility in advancing the intellectual, scientific and research movement at the national level and gathering distinguished expertise to discuss the most important issues that serve to achieve the goals of Vision 2030, Al Yamamah University, represented by the College of Business Administration, organized on March 20, 2022 the annual forum entitled “Family Businesses: Prospects: The future and the possibilities of success in light of Vision 2030”, in strategic partnership with the Capital Market Authority.

Dr. Hussam bin Mohammed Ramadan, President of the University and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, said that the forum, with its distinguished theme, is an important occasion to talk about the important and vital role of family businesses in enhancing the position of the private sector in the national economy and enabling it in an optimal manner and effective frameworks in order to play its expected role in achieving the vision’s goals.

In its sessions and activities, the forum dealt with various related topics such as the duties and responsibilities of family businesses towards achieving Vision 2030, maximizing the impact of family businesses on the local product, the impact of public offerings on the growth and development of family businesses, and the importance of corporate governance and corporate sustainability.

An elite group of speakers and guests, including specialists and academics, participated in open dialogue sessions and rich research papers sessions.
