YU Welcomes New Students “Virtually”

The Deanship of Admissions, Registration and Student Affairs at the university organized a virtual meeting on Monday, August 31, 2020 to welcome the new students in the first semester of the academic year 2020/2021.

Dr. Sultan Alotaibi, Dean of Admissions, Registration and Student Affairs, opened the virtual meeting by welcoming the new students on behalf of the university, and stressed that the university’s first priority is to provide the required support and guidance to help the students achieve their goals.

Mr. Yazeed Abushayea, Registration Department, introduced the attendees to the regulations related to registration such as schedules and signing up for academic courses. Mr. Fahad Alhuwaimel, Student Affairs Department, introduced university life and student activities briefly. He also listed the counseling and voluntary services that are provided to students by the Counseling Unit and the Volunteering Unit.

Mr. Mohammed Alsaheb, Information Technology Department, gave a detailed presentation on how to use the virtual learning platforms, and went through the process of activating the student’s e-mail.
